Sodium fluoride Description
Appearance and Properties: NaF is anhydrous white crystal or powder. Molecular formula is NaF. Specific gravity is 2.6. It is slightly soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol.
Use:
Toothpaste grade
It is mainly used in medical, toothpaste and mouth wash industry etc.
Industrial grade
Sodium fluoride is an important villiaumite. It is used for water treatment agent, wood antisepsis, chinaware paint, and light metal villiaumite electrolyte flux. Used as agriculture pesticide and bactericide. It is used as UF3 in nucleus industry and also used as other fluoride materials.
It has a unique crystal structure that consists of alternating layers of copper and iodine atoms. This crystal structure makes Cuprous iodide a popular choice for researchers in the field of materials science and engineering, as it exhibits interesting electrical and optical properties.
