Descriptions

Red crystals or granules, hygroscopic, with a relative density of 1.88 and a melting point of 55-56℃. Easily soluble in water and alcohols, soluble in acetone, exhibits oxidative properties, and contact with combustible materials can cause fire or explosions. Toxic if inhaled, ingested, or in contact with skin.

Applications

Ceramic coloring agent, paint drying agent, antidote for cyanide poisoning, reagent for the analysis and determination of potassium, cobalt-containing catalysts, cobalt pigments, metal surface treatment, and manufacturing other cobalt salts.
