Uses

 

  1. This product is an excellent glass fiber treatment agent that enhances composite materials’ mechanical strength, electrical properties, and aging resistance. Adding phenolic resin binders to produce glass fiber and mineral fiber can improve moisture resistance and increase compressive resilience.
  2. This product is applied to thermoplastic and thermosetting resins such as phenolic, polyester, epoxy, PBT, polyamide, and polycarbonate filled with mineral fillers, significantly improving and enhancing the physical and mechanical properties such as dry and wet flexural strength, compressive strength, shear strength, and wet electrical properties of plastics. It also improves the wetting and dispersibility of fillers in polymers.
  3. This product is an excellent bonding promoter and can be used in polyurethane, epoxy, nitrile, RTV, sulfides, phenolic adhesives, and sealing materials. It improves the dispersibility of pigments and enhances adhesion to glass, aluminum, and ferrous metals. It is also suitable for polyurethane, epoxy, and acrylic latex paints.
  4. This product improves the bond strength and water resistance of phenolic resin binders in the manufacture of grinding wheels using wear-resistant self-hardening sand.
  5. 3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane can also be used in the synthesis of amino silicon oil and its emulsion.
